Pacific SPS5 Hinged Door Set

 

The Pacific SPS5 Institutional Exterior Door is a robust, economical utility door suitable for sheltered exterior use. The SPS5 door leaf is solid core, faced in steel sheet and capped 4 edges with steel channel. The door is hung in a steel frame.

Most common applications include:

  • External Security Door
  • External Factory Door

The door set is suitable for sheltered exterior use only.

The thickness of the SPS5 door leaf is 50mm with an approximate leaf weight of 45kg/m2

Hardware

Hinges

Stainless steel button tipped Ball Bearing hinges 4 per leaf. Full mortise installation.

Security Hardware

The SPS5 door set is suitable for the installation of any security or architectural hardware.

The SPS5 can also be installed on block hinges, for example as a cell door in a cast-in cell front.

Pacific Doors also has its own designed and tested block hinge avaiable on request.

Hardware must be specified at time of order to enable correct preparation.

Leaf Facings

0.9mm galvanized steel sheet is standard.

Leaf Edges

1.2mm galvanized steel edge cappings over the facing to 2 long edges and top. Bottom edge is undercapped.

Vision Panels

Vision panel beading consists of an all steel-welded frame to each side. ‘Threat’ side is non-removable. Glazing material includes a range of options depending on security level required.

Push or Kickplates

Kickplates are not generally required on this door set.

 

Ventilation Grilles

Optional, stainless steel mesh inserted into the door core and faced each side with louvre grilles (maximum 200x200mm). Not available for smoke control.

Thermal Insulation

This door leaf has a thermal insulation rating (R-value) of 0.502 Km2/W.
