Pacific VP30HR Hinged Door Set -/30/30sm
The VP30HR is a Pyropanel FR board Maxi door.
The VP30 Heritage door set is designed to replicate traditional rail and stile timber door construction with the appearance of recessed flat or raised panels and timber bolection mouldings. Timber veneers are used to replicate clear finish timber rails and stiles.
The Pacific VP30 Heritage is a side hung fire door set. The VP30 Heritage door set can be single leaf or pair, hung in a timber frame. The frame may include adjacent sidelights or overlights, which may also include decorative timber features.
Timber-framed smoke control doors include a seal in the frame. If required, bottom seals can be selected from the Hardware List.
The thickness of the VP30HR door leaf is 65mm with an approximate leaf weight of 35kg/m2

- Please note that the maximum leaf width shown above is measured per door leaf.
- The ‘sm’ above denotes that the door is available as a smoke control door set.
- Minimum width for a fire door leaf is governed by the need to fit a compliant closer. Typically, 400 mm is the practical minimum.

Frame Types & Profiles
Timber Frame
The timber frame profiles listed below are available for the VP30HR door set.
The timber species of the frame must be pine or denser (500kg/m3)
Steel Frame
The VP30HR is not available in a steel frame. Please view the VP60HR for a steel framed 30 minute fire door set.
Standard frames are three-sided only with no sill. Four-sided frames and/or custom sills may be available on request. Timber sills are not available on fire doorsets. For more in depth information on frame profiles and sizes, please see our Installation Instructions.
Meeting Stiles
The meeting stiles listed below are applicable to paired door sets only.
Wall Types
Jambs may be connected to timber stud, steel stud or concrete masonry.
The minimum specification for each wall type is:
- Precast concrete (100mm thickness) or grouted blockwork (140mm thickness).
- Non-load bearing timber stud partitions of minimum lining thickness of 10mm Fyreline Gib Board® in accordance with GBT30 (Gib ® Fire Rated Systems).
- Non-load bearing steel stud partitions of minimum specification GBS60 (Gib® Fire Rated Systems).

- Pyrobel is not suitable for exterior doors.

Additional Door Options
Push or Kickplates
Push plates or kickplates can be of the below permitted materials and can be either surface mounted or recessed flush. Fixing may be via screws or contact adhesive only.
- Steel (mild or Stainless)
- Vinyl Sheets up to 2mm
- Formica
- Acrovyn
- Korogard
The maximum height of non-Fire Rated Formica kickplates is 685mm.
Thermal Insulation
This door leaf has a thermal insulation rating (R-value) of 0.645 Km2/W.
