Product features:
A version of the Armashield is available tested to R2 rating.
The thickness of the Armashield door leaf is 48mm (52mm for R1 & R2 rating). Leaf weight is approximately 80kg/m2 (90kg/m2 for R1 & R2).

Timber Stud Masonry | Not applicable | Single or Pair | 2700 | 1200 |
Notes:
Ballistic rated door sets require either a fully-grouted frame installation to masonry or concrete walls, or else ballistic protection built into the frame during manufacture. Matching Ballistic Wall Panels are described in a separate section.
This door set is suitable for installation into a timber or masonry wall of equal security construction as the door type.
All steel leaf with attack face in 6mm steel (S0 and G2) or 10mm hardened steel (R1 and R2). Non attack (inside) face is a removable light gauge steel panel (rivet fixed as standard).
The Armashield has leaf edges edges as shown below.
Hardware must be specified in detail at the time of ordering so that correct preparation of the steel door leaf and frame can be made. This includes any door furniture or items which may be screw-fixed to or through the outside face.
Surface-mounted closers mounted on the inside face are recommended.
Fully mortised 4½ x 4½ Stainless steel Institutional hinges are standard on the hinged Armashield door set.
Locking systems with multiple bolts including top and bottom bolts, internally fitted to the Armashield door set, are available from Pacific Door Systems.
This door set is only available in a steel frame.
The steel frame profiles listed below are available for the Armashield door set
Standard frames are three-sided only with no sill. Four-sided frames and/or custom sills may be available on request. For more in depth information on frame profiles and sizes, please see our Installation Instructions.
Notes:
The standard glazing system provides a flush attack face and steel beading with fixings on the “non-attack” face. The system is adaptable to various thicknesses of security glazing according to requirements.
Please talk to a Pacific Doors representative if you require a combination of security and ballistic resistance.
The Pacific ARMASHIELD Ballistic doorset can be delivered with explosive blast resistance with limitations on configurations and hardware. Please see our ARMASHIELD Blast datasheet for more information.
