Pacific SPS4 Institutional Interior Door
The Pacific SPS4 Institutional Interior Door is a robust, economical utility door. The SPS4 door leaf is solid core, faced in steel sheet, and capped two edges with steel channel. The door is typically hung in a steel frame.

Leaf Facings
0.9mm electrogalvanised steel sheet is standard.
Leaf Edges
1.2mm steel edge cappings over the facing to two long edges.

The meeting stiles listed below are applicable to paired door sets only.
Hinges
Stainless steel button tipped Ball Bearing hinges 4 per leaf. Full mortise installation.
The SPS4 can also be installed on block hinges, for example as a cell door in a cast-in cell front.
Pacific Doors also has its own designed and tested block hinge avaiable on request.
Security Hardware
The SPS4 door set is suitable for the installation of any security or architectural hardware. Hardware must be specified at time of order to enable correct preparation.

This door set is only available in a steel frame.

The steel frame profiles listed below are available for the SPS3 door set
Standard frames are three-sided only with no sill. Four-sided frames and/or custom sills may be available on request. For more in depth information on frame profiles and sizes, please see our Installation Instructions.
Vision panel beading consists of an all steel-welded frame to each side. ‘Threat’ side is non-removable. Glazing material includes a range of options depending on security level required.

This door leaf has a thermal insulation rating (R-value) of 0.502 Km2/W.

Push or Kickplates
Kickplates are not generally required on this door set.
Ventilation Grilles
Optional, stainless steel mesh inserted into the door core and faced each side with louvre grilles (maximum 200x200mm). Not available for smoke control.
