Pacific FW30 Fire Window -/30/30
The Pacific FW30 Insulating Fire Window is fire resisting glazing with an insulation rating as defined in the New Zealand Building Code Acceptable Solutions C/AS2 to C/AS6. Available in both timber and steel frame.

Window Size
The Pacific FW30 Fire Window is a glazing system with insulating glass which allows large sized glazing and timber detailing.
The glazing is a fire window system which is fire resisting glazing as defined in the NZ Building Code Acceptable Solutions C/AS2 to C/AS6.

- Pyrobel glazed windows can be connected as a sidelight to the VP30/VP60 doorset. Pyranova glazed windows can be connected as a sidelight to the TB60 doorset.
- Glazing types marked with * indicate Grade A Safety glass.
Wall Types
- Non-load bearing timber stud/Gib Board wall conforming to minimum specification GBT30 as listed in “Gib® Fire Rated Systems 1997”.
- Non-load bearing steel stud partitions of minimum specification GBS90 (timber framed doors) or GBS60 (Steel framed doors) (Gib® Fire Rated Systems 1997).
- Universal Wall systems GBUW30a or GBUW30b
- Masonry or concrete construction.

The FW30 is available in a hardwood timber frame, 580kg/m3 or denser in the below frame profiles. 42 mm minimum frame thickness.
Timber Frame Connection to a Fire Door Detail
For VP30 System For TB30 System *For the VP30 system, the separate glazed sidelight is connected to the fire door frame with a layer of 13mm plasterboard between. The joint is covered by a timber architrave as illustrated above.
Steel Frame
The FW30 glazing system can include panes of up to 2820mm high x 2820mm wide in a steel frame.
