Pacific VP30HRDA Double Action Heritage Fire Doors

The VP30HR-DA Heritage fire door set is designed to replicate a traditional rail and stile timber door in the same way as the VP30HR, however this door set is double action (double swing). Flush panel versions of this door set are also available.

  • Leaf Size

    VP30HR double action timber framed (VP30HR DA TF) door set  is a pivoting door suitable for interior installation only. The door set configuration may be single leaf or pair, finished with a variety of facings and pivoted in a timber frame (on floor springs only).

    The thickness of the VP30HR DA TF door leaf is 65mm with an approximate leaf weight of 35kg/m2

    Notes:

    1. Please note that the maximum leaf width shown above is measured per door leaf.
    2. This door type is not available with a smoke rating

     

    Wall Types

    Jambs may be connected to timber stud, steel stud or concrete masonry.
    The minimum specification for each wall type is:

    • Precast concrete (100mm thickness) or grouted blockwork (140mm thickness).
    • Non-load bearing timber stud partitions of minimum lining thickness of 10mm Fyreline Gib Board® in accordance with GBT30 (Gib ® Fire Rated Systems).
    • Non-load bearing steel stud partitions of minimum specification GBS60 (Gib® Fire Rated Systems).

    Notes:

    1. Of the above facings only those marked * may extend around the door edge.
    2. Steel frames are required where metal capping is used.
    3. Timber veneer requires FRR -/30/30
    4. Standard Paint Quality doors are allowed ‘non-clashed’ to provide best surface for finish painting.

    Meeting Stiles

  • Timber Frame

    The timber frame profiles listed below are available for the VP30HR DA TF door set.

    The timber species of the frame must be pine or denser (500kg/m3)

     

    Steel Frame

    The VP30HR DA TF double action is not available in a steel frame. Please view the VP30 DA for a steel framed 30 minute double action door set.

    Standard frames are three-sided only with no sill. Four-sided frames and/or custom sills may be available on request. Timber sills are not available on fire doorsets. For more in depth information on frame profiles and sizes, please see our Installation Instructions.

    The VP30HR has the largest vision panel options of all our standard fire doors. Please contact us if you have any special requirements.

  • Thermal insulation

    This door leaf has a thermal insulation rating (R-value) of 0.645 Km2/W.

Product Optional Extras

  • Push or Kickplates

    Push plates or kickplates can be of the below permitted materials and can be either surface mounted or recessed flush. Fixing may be via screws or contact adhesive only.

    • Steel (mild or Stainless)
    • Vinyl Sheets up to 2mm
    • Formica
    • Acrovyn
    • Korogard

    The maximum height of non-Fire Rated Formica kickplates is 685mm.

  • Overpanels

    Screw fixed side panels or overpanels may be fitted adjacent. Please contact Pacific Doors to get more information on this option.

  • Timber Frame - Insulated Sidelights and Overlights

    Restrictions

    Maximum height of overall unit is 4275mm.

    The insulated glazing types shown below maybe used for this configuration.

    • Pyrobel - clear pane maximum 2010h x 1300w

    This sidelight and overlight configuration is available for single and paired door sets.

     

    Timber Frame - Uninsulated Sidelights and Overlights

    Restrictions

    Maximum height of overall unit is 3400mm.

    The uninsulated glazing types shown below maybe used for this configuration.

    • Firelite - clear pane maximum 1500h x 900w
    • Georgian Wired - clear pane maximum 1000h x 590w

    This sidelight and overlight configuration is available for single and paired door sets.
