Core: solid composite timber 

Clashing: Paint Quality doors are clashed as standard.

Facings: Medium Density Fibreboard is standard

Thickness: This door leaf is available as 38 mm.

Leaf Sizes: The solid core door is available for manufacture to any practical size to suit client requirements. Thought should be given to the facings of oversize door leafs so that there is no visible join in the face of the door.

Leaf Facings

The facings listed below are available for the door set

• Paint quality factory sealed
• Timber veneer full height
• High pressure laminate full height
• Sheet vinyl to 1000 mm
• 1 mm stainless steel kickplate to 1000 mm – both sides

Leaf Edges

The leaf edges listed below are available for the Solid Core door set

• 7 mm pine clashing to hinge edge
• 7 mm pine clashing to leading edge of singles

Meeting Stiles

• 18 mm pine clashing to leading edge of rebated pairs 
• 7 mm pine clashing to hinge edge
• Bullnose
• J-section

Steel Frame

The steel frame profiles listed below are available for the TB door set

Standard frames are three-sided only with no sill. Four-sided frames and/or custom sills may be available on request. For more in depth information on frame profiles and sizes, please see our Installation Instructions.

Vision panels for the Solid Core door set are available with timber, aluminium or steel bead, and can be of any practical size within the door leaf provided that there is a minimum 150mm perimeter rail as shown below.

Glazing can be of any type to suit your requirement.

There are no hardware limitations for the Solid Core door set, however consideration should always be given to fitness for purpose.

Concealed hinges are not an option on this doorset.
